Client Project of the Month: September 2025

After a short summer break, we are delighted to return with the sixth volume of our Client Project of the Month series! Once again, we are inspired by the beautiful creations our clients share with us. At Artist-shop, we believe that every project is more than just material — it’s a reflection of faith, tradition, and devotion. Our role is to support you in turning your vision into a reality.
September 2025: Client Project of the Month
🌍 This month, we are pleased to showcase a Latin-style chasuble crafted in the Philippines and worn by Bishop Elias Ayuban Jr., DD, Roman Catholic Bishop of Cubao, during the Mass for the Feast of Saint Anne.
Our client shared with us an insightful note about this vestment. He explained that “it is a common misconception among our local (i.e., in the Philippines) modern clerics that the so-called Latin-shaped chasubles (known as Pianeta in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal) are reserved solely for the traditional form of the Roman Liturgy. In fact, the Instruction explicitly permits their use. Unfortunately, this has led many to prefer only the fuller, bell-shaped chasubles — closer in form to the Byzantine Phelonion.”
With this project, our client hopes to contribute to the gradual reintroduction of Latin vestments, helping to dispel biases and restore appreciation for their beauty and historical continuity.
The result is a striking chasuble made from our fabric IERO 108 in the color 113 (Gold base with Gold, Green, Beige, Bordeaux, and Red pattern).
